Henry Freeman is a prolific author and has written

World War I was in fact the war that changed the
world. A bloody war that led to loss of
life, collapsing economies, and monarchs abdicated, empires ended, armies were
destroyed, countries were devastated and towns and cities were pulverized.
The World War I began in 1914 and ended only in
1918. It was the first industrialized war. Revolutionary technology was used to
kill and maim as many as possible. There were advancement in guns, tanks,
submarines, planes, bombs; – the industries were being used to create only
weapons of war and mass destruction. The young who fought in the trenches saw
devastation. The nations fighting the battle wanted to win under every
circumstance.
