Think and Grow Rich By Napoleon Hill
The original book was published in 1937
. The book to a great extent has been kept the same except a few minor changes.
Written by Napoleon Hill the book was promoted as a self improvement book and
personal development book. Hill is said to have been inspired by the
philanthropist Andrew Carnegie.
Although the book promotes the ways
to increase income. The author in fact suggests that those who follow his book
can succeed in any career and do anything they want. Napolean Hill died in 1970
when over 20 million copies were sold. By the year 2015 over a 100 million
copies have been sold worldwide.
It
still remains a big seller among his other books. His book is based on one of
his written works - The Law of Success, a study of individuals
who amassed huge personal fortunes.
Hill
established 16 laws that can be applied to achieve success. Think and
Grow Rich condenses these laws giving the reader 13 principles which can be
used to create a Philosophy of Achievement.
Mark Hansen says that two principles are very important:-
1) The MasterMind principle/process and
2)
"Know very clearly where you want to go."
The
book insists you need to have faith and desire to succeed. Your perseverance and
hard work will lead you to great heights. Focus on the goal and put down any negative
thoughts.
There
are many books and courses that have been created from the Think and
Grow Rich principles.
There are several books on personal finance and how
to become rich but none who do better than this book published in 1937.
Napoleon Hill, former advisor to President
Franklin D. Roosevelt, talked to over five hundred most successful men in this
country. He wrote over 200 pages and wrote a 200-page book called Think and Grow Rich,
which become a best-selling books of all time.
